This morning at 7:52 a.m. Bloom school bus T7 transporting 26 Parker Middle School students was involved in a traffic collision in the vicinity of Ingell and County Streets.
Five students were transported to Morton Hospital for evaluation for complaints of pain. An administrator from Parker accompanied the students to the hospital.
The remaining students on the bus were evaluated by first responders and continued to school where they will be monitored throughout the day by the school nurse and school counselors. Parents and guardians of all students involved have been notified.
The collision is being investigated by the Taunton Police Department and all information about the collision itself will come from the department.
