We are pleased to welcome your family to the Taunton Public Schools! Going to a new school is a very important step for your child and can be an anxious time for families. With this in mind, we strive to make the registration process as easy and convenient as possible.
Registration for new students for the 2024-2025 School Year can be done online (preferred method) or in-person.

Registration Required Documents
1. Valid Photo ID acceptable forms include:
- Driver's License
- Passport
- Other Official Government ID
2. Student Birth Certificate: Birth abstracts, hospital records, and other unofficial documents are not accepted
3. One Proof of Residency: It must include the legal guardian's name and a Taunton address. Acceptable forms include:
- Property Tax Bill
- Mortgage Statement
- Section 8 Agreement
- Quitclaim Deed
- Active Lease Agreement
- If no such document exists, parents/guardians must produce a notarized TPS address affidavit form
4. One Proof of Occupancy: It must include the legal guardian's name and a Taunton address and be dated within the last 60 days. Acceptable forms of proof include:
- Any Utility Bill- cable/internet, electric, gas, oil, water
- If no such document exists, MA health insurance letter or transitional assistance letter
5. Health Records: Proof of last physical examination within the last 13 months
6. Immunization Records
7. Other Important Documents: if applicable
