Register for Sports

Register your student for Taunton High School athletics through SchoolMint. This page includes registration instructions, participation requirements, athletic fees, and other information to help you complete the registration process.

Before starting athletic registration, gather the following information and documents to help you complete the registration process:

• A SchoolMint account. Athletic registration is completed through your existing SchoolMint account. If you do not already have a SchoolMint account, you will create one as part of the registration process.
• Your student's LASID (Student ID). You will need your student's LASID to begin the registration process. The LASID is sometimes referred to as your student's lunch number. If you do not know your student's LASID, please contact your child's school.
• Student and caregiver information. You will be asked to review and verify your contact information. If you are creating a new SchoolMint account, you will be asked to provide this information during registration.
• A current physical. Students must have a current physical on file before participating in tryouts or practices. Physicals are valid for 13 months from the examination date.
• Medical information. Be prepared to provide information about any medications your student takes, allergies (including medication, food, and insect allergies), and your student's health insurance information.
• Athletic participation fee. The annual athletic participation fee is $150. Fee waiver requests may be made through the Athletic Director and are handled confidentially.
• NFHS Concussion Course. Caregivers will be asked to complete the required NFHS Concussion in Sports course as part of the athletic registration process.

The annual athletic participation fee is $150 per student and covers participation in all three athletic seasons.

Payment Options:

You may pay the athletic participation fee in either of the following ways:

• Online: Pay securely through City Hall Systems.

• In Person: Pay by cash or check at the Athletics Office located at Taunton High School.
